Christian Counseling for Women Healing from Relationship Trauma in Midland, TX

Many women come to therapy feeling confused, exhausted, or disconnected—from themselves, from others, or from the life they hoped to have. Relationship wounds can be especially painful because they often come from people we loved, trusted, or depended on. Over time, these experiences can shape how you see yourself, how safe you feel in relationships, and how you respond to stress, conflict, or closeness.

Trauma and relationship therapy is not about blaming you or revisiting the past over and over. It’s about understanding how your experiences have impacted your nervous system, your attachment patterns, and your sense of identity—so healing can happen at a deeper level.

At Redeeming Lives Counseling & Consulting, we work with women and families who have experienced emotional, psychological, physical, or betrayal trauma, as well as those navigating divorce, remarriage, co-parenting, or blended family dynamics. Therapy focuses on helping you make sense of what you’ve been through, gently process unresolved trauma, and build healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

Our approach is:

  • Trauma-informed and attachment-focused

  • Grounded in evidence-based practices, including EMDR

  • Compassionate, collaborative, and paced for safety

  • Faith-integrated when desired

Healing doesn’t mean erasing your story—it means reclaiming your voice, strengthening your boundaries, and learning to trust yourself again. Therapy becomes a place where you can slow down, feel supported, and begin to move forward with clarity and confidence.

You are not weak for needing support. You are responding to experiences that mattered—and healing is possible.

My Story

I believe people are incredibly resilient—and I also know how heavy life can feel when you’ve been carrying pain for a long time.

My work as a therapist grew out of a deep respect for the complexity of trauma and relationships. Over the years, I’ve walked alongside women who have loved deeply, trusted bravely, and been hurt in ways that left them questioning themselves, their relationships, and sometimes their faith. I’ve seen how relational wounds can quietly shape how we think, feel, and show up in the world.

What I’ve learned is this: healing doesn’t come from pushing harder or trying to “fix” yourself. It comes from feeling safe enough to slow down, tell the truth, and understand what your experiences have done to your nervous system, your attachment patterns, and your sense of self.

I approach therapy with compassion, curiosity, and respect. I don’t believe in labeling people as broken or disordered because of what they’ve been through. Instead, I see symptoms as signals—your mind and body’s best attempt to survive painful experiences. Together, we work to make sense of those signals and create space for real healing.

My clinical training includes trauma-focused therapy, EMDR, attachment-based work, and evidence-based approaches that support lasting change. When faith is important to a client, I’m honored to integrate Christian principles in a way that feels safe, ethical, and aligned with your values—never forced or assumed.

At Redeeming Lives Counseling & Consulting, my hope is to offer a space where you can exhale. A place where you don’t have to perform, explain everything perfectly, or carry the weight alone. Whether you’re healing from past relationships, navigating divorce or remarriage, or simply longing for peace and clarity, you are welcome here.

You don’t have to have all the answers to begin. You just have to be willing to take the next step.
