ADHD Counseling for Christian Women
Living with ADHD as an adult can feel overwhelming. You may find yourself easily distracted, forgetting details, or struggling to stay organized with work, home, or relationships. Many women also experience emotional ups and downs, frustration, or shame from not meeting their own expectations.

For some, emotional eating becomes a way to cope with stress or exhaustion, creating another layer of guilt.

Trauma and ADHD
Unprocessed trauma can make ADHD symptoms even harder to manage. Trauma impacts the brain’s ability to regulate attention, memory, and emotions—areas already affected by ADHD. This can lead to increased forgetfulness, difficulty focusing, heightened anxiety, and feeling easily overwhelmed. Without addressing trauma, ADHD strategies alone may not bring the relief you’re looking for.

Finding Hope
ADHD counseling provides tools and strategies to manage focus, organization, and emotional regulation. But true healing often requires going deeper. That’s why I take a trauma-focused, faith-based approach, integrating EMDR therapy. By addressing both the symptoms and the root causes, you can break free from cycles of shame and move toward peace and balance.

As a Christian therapist, I believe your worth and identity are not defined by ADHD or your struggles. With the right support, you can embrace who God created you to be and live with clarity, confidence, and freedom.
This workbook is designed to help you break free from the cycle of emotional eating by addressing both the surface behaviors and the deeper roots. Emotional eating often shows up as a way to cope with stress, overwhelm, or unprocessed trauma—and for women with ADHD symptoms, the struggle can feel even harder.

Through reflective exercises, and practical strategies, this workbook will guide you in exploring your emotions, understanding your triggers, and building healthier patterns. You’ll learn how trauma and ADHD can impact your relationship with food.

Whether you’ve struggled with emotional eating for years or are just beginning to recognize the patterns, this workbook offers tools to help you move toward freedom, peace, and confidence in the woman God created you to be.
